Ritual

Role: Producer/Level Designer

Time of Project: 10 Weeks

Ritual was a game development project at DePaul. We were given a publisher's scope with the main theme having to focus with indigenous themes. We were given 10 weeks to create this game and have a final build prepared. I served mainly as the producer where I would track feedback, set overall sprints, and be the focal point for our team with the public and our instructor. As Level Designer I would assist with creating the final level environments within the game and would also pitch in with early concepts and mechanics.

In Ritual, you play as Nahimana, a "Dreamweaver" or caretaker/shaman of your tribe. Your village is under attack from evil spirits and have made your peoples flee the tribe. You are tasked by the Chief to restore the land back in balance to bring back "The People of the Wind."
